GORDON SHERIDAN All rounder. Thumping right hand bat. Right arm controlled medium pace. Played for the Presidents in three separate spells between sojourns abroad - and turns up all through our records for twenty years - chipping in with runs - nipping out wickets (including a 4-4 in our best ever bowling performance in 1997). Retired after his suspect knee broke down for the second time under the President's colours in the heavy defeat by Clapham Nomads in 2004 - having just taken a magnificent catch. Gordon Sheridan. Born Harare, Zimbabwe 1954. University of the Witwatersrand. Civil Engineer by profession. | ||
