The scorebook gives little in the way of analysis - but the basic figures tell the story. We batted first and scored a lot - big Martin Spence topping the performance with nine fours in his 47.

And then Stefan Tevis and Phil Crossley destroyed them - five overs each - Stefan 3-15 and Phil with an unplayable 6-15 - three clean-bowled for ducks - that seems (unless a missing scorebook can prove otherwise) to have been the best bowling analysis of the club's first twenty years.
