One of our highest scores, one of our biggest victories - and memorable for both Jerry Williams and Rob Johnston making their highest individual scores for the club in an unbroken stand of 146 for the fifth wicket. Jerry finished on 83 - two sixes, eleven fours - and Rob on 71 - one six, eleven fours. Simon Morecroft had shown them the way with six fours in his forty-two.

The same pair of Rob and Jerry led the way in the bowling with two wickets apiece - and once they had ended some spirited resistance from Ken White and John I'Anson, it was simply a matter of giving everyone else a bowl. A good afternoon's work all round.
