THE PRESIDENT'S XI - MATCH REPORT - SALIX

THE PRESIDENT'S XI
CRICKET CLUB

v. SALIX
23 MAY 1998

LOST BY EIGHT WICKETS

A home game at Haydons Road. The scorebook is completely silent about this one - but a summary on the Salix website gives us the gist.

The Presidents batted first and subsided to 109 all out off thirty-three overs - Mike Harte returning the very tidy figures of seven overs, two maidens, and two wickets for a miserly six runs.

In reply, Salix knocked off the runs in twenty-two overs for the loss of just two wickets - Rob Bailey top-scoring with thirty-seven not out. Not one of our better days.
