THE PRESIDENT'S XI - MATCH REPORT - THE RINGERS

THE PRESIDENT'S XI
CRICKET CLUB

v. RINGERS
19 MAY 2001

WON BY SIX WICKETS

A damp early season match at Raynes Park - the only record we have are some photocopies supplied by the Ringers - the names of their batsmen missing to preserve anonymity - but the bowling figures seem worth recording. All five of the President's bowlers took a wicket - and between them they conceded only thirty-six runs from the bat in twenty-one overs.

Our response was not without incident - but the ever-reliable Extras top-scored - Clive Lewis carried his bat - Praba Thangarajah saw us home (all in singles) - and Guy Martin chipped in with two of only a handful of boundaries scored all afternoon.
