Haydons Road - and a glorious late summer day. The Presidents to bat first - and a decent start - 25-0 after six overs - but then - but then. Minor resistance from Praba Thangarajah and Brian Lake - but all the Salix bowlers take wickets - and don't concede runs. Fletcher wraps it all up - the Presidents all out for eighty-four. After tea - "a very nice curry type affair" according to the Salix reporter - the Presidents try hard - good spells from Praba and Ravi - but it's all too much. We sink to defeat - badly outplayed by Salix for the second year running. | |||||||
